Oral: Initial: Gout Flare: 1.2 milligrams by mouth at the first sign of the flare followed by 0.6 milligrams one hr later on. Maximum: Gout Flare: 1.8 mg orally over a one hour period Coadministration with solid CYP450 3A4 inhibitors: 0.6 mg by mouth followed by 0.3 mg one hour later. Dosage to be repeated no earlier compared to 3 days. Coadministration with modest CYP450 3A4 inhibitors: 1.2 mg by mouth for one dosage only. Dose to be duplicated no earlier compared to 3 days. Coadministration with P-glycoprotein inhibitors: 0.6 mg by mouth for one dose simply. Dosage to be duplicated no earlier compared to 3 days.





Over The Counter Colchicine.

(Unlabeled use): Oral: 0.5 to 0.6 milligrams by mouth daily for 3 to 4 days a week (less compared to 1 attack/year). 0.5 to 0.6 mg orally once daily (greater compared to 1 attack/year). Severe cases might need 1 to 1.8 mg/day.
